Gamebore Velocity Steel 28gr Clay Cartridges
NEW Velocity Steel Target loads are designed for use at venues where lead shot is not permitted. Perfect for training and club shooting, they are smooth on the shoulder and are available in 21, 24 and 28grm loads.
Gamebore precision steel competition loads have been used successfully throughout Scandinavia for over 35 years following their ban on Lead shot.
Gamebore introduced it to the UK market more recently as a more economic alternative to Lead competition loads. This cartridge has a velocity of 1350 feet per second. UK SPEC CIP
STANDARD STEEL: Suitable for all guns bearing Nitro Proof marks from 1954 and onwards. Half choke maximum
Standard Steel ammunition can be used in any shotgun (with the exception of those with Damascus/twist barrells) in good order bearing London or Birmingham proof symbols from 1954 onwards. For pre-1954 shotguns guidance will be needed from the British Proof Authority. The shotgun must be chambered for the case length of the ammunition as a minimum. Longer chamber lengths can be used with shorter ammunition.
All cartridges should be stored at room temperature in a dry location. Adverse temperatures may affect performance. Do not expose to extreme temperatures.
