at 40% less energy consumption. More than this, the 2nd
generation LED is combined with a newly-developed
Super-High-Flux-Chip, that offers you true 85
lumens of pure white light for over 2hours.
As all Ledwave flashlights, the XP-1 Trooper has a CAD designed and CNC-machined pre-focused reflector, that does not leave the choice to you of having just a bright hotspot or just a big corona (with a black hole in the middle). Ledwave gives you both at the same time for optimum performance in the field.

LED TECHNOLOGY
The Ledwave XP-1 does not work with a conventional illuminant but with an LED (light-emitting diode). The big advantages of the LED are a significantly longer life span of the light emitting portion (approx. 50.000 hrs), a higher light yield and a by far smaller energy consumption than incandescent bulbs, such as Xenon-bulbs. The XP-1 Trooper features a 3-Watt LED of the 2nd generation. The LED is controlled by a specially developed circuit, called Super-High-Flux-Chip, for optimizing the overall performance as optimum battery and bulb life and maximum light output of the flashlight.
The XP-1 Trooper is one of the first hand-held torches working with this technology.
GENERAL OPERATION
The XP-1 Trooper has a tactical on/off system on the back of the torch that provides constant and temporary light. By pressing the switch lightly the flashlights lights up only for the time of pressing. When pressing the switch further you realize a clicking of the switch for constant light. By pressing again you switch off the light. The tail cap switch is covered by waterproof rubber casing.
